This model is a favorite because the sound is bolder and more mellow than most models and is rarely disappointing. We carry only the 1975-1977 vintage, those originally 21 chord and with rounded edges, all with spruce veneer tops and modern bracing. The best examples are with fine tuners and at this price.
The same instrument and description as the Appalachian 21 but with a factory installed magnetic pickup (DeArmond design) with 1/4' connector, tone, and volume controls. Red/orange chord cover - NO LONGER AVAILABLE. COVER WILL BE BLACK, AND PICTURE WILL BE UPDATED.
Very early 21 chord, chromatic model B, US vintage 1975-77. Outstanding condtion with little sign of ever being used. To be refurbished. (not yet ready to ship) Note that a tuning wrench is not included, sold separately as one of two choices. Includes used chipboard case in respectable condition. Other, new case available.
This instrument is from the Rudy Schlacher ownership years, evidenced by the squared edges of the instrument. This one has a retro brown chord cover set over a 21 bar conversion kit with black factory felt, adjusted for proper damping. Should be considered better than new. To be refurbished.
